Andrew Chee, M.Arch

Andrew Chee is a designer and researcher based in New York. He works across architecture, media infrastructures, and curatorial systems. He holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where he received the Charles McKim Prize for Excellence in Design, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science.

He has worked at OMA New York and Junya Ishigami + Associates on architectural projects, at Google on product interfaces, and at the Whitney Museum on exhibitions, graphic systems, and digital media. His work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club, AIGA, and iF Design, and exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum, La MaMa, and the Istanbul Contemporary Art Museum.

He is publisher of Rote Press, an artist-run imprint for experimental print media, and director of Related Works, a design practice focused on participatory systems, counter-archives, and material reuse.

Related Works LLC engages across art and commerce, to products and services. We are available for commissions and project-based collaborations. 

Our fee structure is sliding scale, favoring projects for public arts, housing, and education, particularly if resulting research can be made accessible to the public. 

We are open to alternative forms of compensation, including but not limited to profit-sharing, equity, barter, and trades.
