ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
We lead projects from concept through construction for cultural, residential, and mixed-use clients. Our process integrates participatory workshops, zoning analysis, and material life-cycle assessment. Every project targets LEED Platinum or higher and incorporates flood-resilient detailing.
EXHIBITION & SPATIAL DESIGN
Museums, galleries, and biennials commission us to translate complex narratives into inhabitable form. We balance curatorial strategy with technical delivery: graphics, lighting, and accessibility guidelines are resolved in-house.
MATERIAL RESEARCH & PROTOTYPING
Through our labs and institutional partnerships, we test biogenic and reused materials—mycelium blocks, clay composites, recycled aggregates—and provide rapid prototyping services (CNC, 3-D printing).
PUBLISHING & EDITORIAL
Our editorial arm produces limited-run books, zines, and digital publications that extend project research into public discourse. Services span concepting, art direction, typesetting, and distribution strategy.
ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE CONSULTING
We deliver whole-building LCA, daylight and thermal simulations, and decarbonisation road-maps. Reports align with LEED, Living Building Challenge, and local energy codes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- Do you take international architectural commissions?
- Yes. Related Works delivers projects worldwide and coordinates trusted local consultants to meet regional codes and cultural contexts.
Which sustainability standards guide your work?
- Our baseline target is LEED Platinum, but we also integrate Living Building Challenge metrics and regional green-building protocols whenever feasible.
What project scales do you typically handle?
- We work across scales, from small exhibition installations and interior fit-outs to multi-storey cultural, residential, and mixed-use buildings.
When should a client engage Related Works in the design process?
- Ideally at the project’s earliest definition stage. Early engagement lets us align zoning, sustainability, and curatorial goals before costly revisions.
Can exhibition and spatial design be commissioned as a stand-alone service?
- Absolutely. Institutions often engage us solely for curatorial concept development, exhibition architecture, and interpretive graphics.
